Leo Zombolo
Designer
Leo earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Designer at Division 32 Landscape Architecture with three years of experience in residential landscape and garden design, primarily working throughout Chicago’s North Shore and across Illinois while at Craig Bergmann Landscape Design.
He brings a strong foundation in plant knowledge, residential site design, CAD, construction detailing, and drawing production, supporting projects from early design through documentation and visualization. His work is grounded in creating outdoor spaces that are logically organized, aesthetically considered, and ecologically sensible—translating client needs into environments designed for daily use, gathering, and long-term enjoyment.
Highly detail-oriented and adaptable, Leo is skilled at managing multiple workstreams while maintaining clarity and consistency across fast-paced project timelines. He collaborates closely with team members to support design development, production coordination, and evolving project demands.
Outside the studio, Leo enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, caring for plants, participating in a house soccer league, and continuing to expand his technical and design education.
